Not Able to Install EndNote X4 for Mac

November 29, 2010 – Yingting

Problem: I have been trying to install EndNote X4 for Mac, but I am having trouble placing the EndNote X4 folder in the Applications folder. Please help.

Answer: There are two possibilities when this problem occurs. First, you may not have the permission to access the Applications folder and to install programs on that Mac computer. Check with your IT personnel for permissions. Second, your Mac version might be too old. It requires v. 10.5.0 and up to run EndNote X4 for Mac. So make sure your Mac version is up to date. Hope this helps.
